Responsibilities

  • Install and repair auto glass under the guidance of experienced technicians.
  • Recalibrate automotive safety systems as part of the installation process.
  • Provide additional services and products to enhance customer safety and satisfaction.
  • Participate in hands-on and classroom training to learn the Safelite way of service delivery.
  • Study and pass testing to become a Safelite-certified Technician, demonstrating proficiency in installations.
  • Safely operate a company vehicle and utilize company-issued tools throughout the workday.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid state-issued driver's license required.
  • Comfortable working outside in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Ability to work scheduled days with flexibility on start and end times to accommodate customer needs.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred; ability to read and write.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in a mechanical or technical field is a plus.
  • Customer service experience is beneficial.
