About the position

The Vehicle & Parts Intake Associate plays a crucial role in managing the intake of vehicles and auto parts, ensuring accurate data entry and inventory management. This position is essential for maintaining operational efficiency and compliance with safety regulations while supporting the repair process.

Responsibilities

• Receive and enter all auto parts delivered to the facility.
• Manage inventory levels for auto parts and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and restocking.
• Utilize parts management systems for tracking parts and supplies needed for repairs.
• Enter each vehicle that comes into the facility for repairs, attaching all work performed on the vehicle along with all parts pulled from inventory.
• Maintain accurate data entry records related to maintenance activities and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all work performed is always recorded accurately.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Proficient in web-based inventory and/or maintenance software and MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management practices.
• Familiarity with stocking and order management systems.
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate teamwork.

Nice-to-haves

• Vehicle repair knowledge is a plus.
