About The Position
The position is located in North Andover, MA, under the IBE 326 union, with a pay rate of $44.26. The key accountabilities include diagnosing troubles, performing inspections, and making repairs on various automotive and truck equipment, including chassis, engines, transmissions, drive trains, rear axles, steering mechanisms, hydraulic braking systems, suspensions, cooling systems, wheels, tires, instruments, and lighting accessories. The role also involves assisting others in maintenance, inspections, and repairs, responding to service calls for scheduled and unscheduled repairs, handling standard garage materials and chemicals, and accurately documenting work using Fleet Anywhere or an equivalent vehicle maintenance program. The technician will work alone in the assigned shop or at other locations and perform all other garage-related duties as assigned.
