About the position

As a 2025 AutoZone Summer Intern supporting Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the people aspect of our business. This internship will provide you with a comprehensive overview of various HR functions, including Talent Acquisition, Professional Development, Benefits, Compensation, and Communications. You will also engage in Community Relations and Events, allowing you to gain a well-rounded experience in the field of Human Resources. This position is designed for students who are eager to learn and contribute to a dynamic team while developing their professional skills. The internship spans nine weeks, from June to August 2025, and is a paid, full-time opportunity. Throughout this period, you will have the chance to participate in cross-functional job shadowing, which will give you insights into different areas of the organization. Additionally, you will attend professional and personal development workshops aimed at enhancing your skills and preparing you for future career opportunities. Networking and community service events will also be part of your experience, allowing you to connect with other interns and professionals in the field. You will benefit from a 1-on-1 mentorship program, where you will receive guidance and support from experienced professionals in Human Resources. This mentorship will be invaluable as you navigate your internship and explore potential career paths within the industry. We are looking for candidates who are currently rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students enrolled in a college or university at the time of the Summer 2025 Internship Program. It is essential that you are able to live in Memphis for a minimum of two months during the internship, as this will be the primary location for your work. For non-local students, relocation support will be provided to assist with your move to Memphis.

Requirements

  • Must be a current rising Junior, Senior or Graduate student enrolled in a college or university at the time of Summer 2025 Internship Program (June 2, 2025 - August 1, 2025)
  • Must be able to live in Memphis for a minimum of two months during Summer 2025
  • Non-local students are defined as those who do not have family housing options in Memphis or whose educational institution is not located in Memphis
  • Relocation support is provided for non-local students

  • Background knowledge in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, Photography, Graphic Design, Marketing, or Public Relations
