About the position

The AutoCAD Drafter position at Actalent involves working on environmental projects, focusing on 2D and 3D drafting. The role requires maintaining organized drawings and sketches on the CAD server and project folders, primarily drafting simple plan view drawings, and updating existing drafts as changes occur. The drafter will collaborate on multiple remedial brownfield projects, assisting civil and environmental engineers with drafting remedial layouts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized drawings and sketches on the CAD server and in project folders.
• Draft simple plan view drawings based on provided data.
• Incorporate survey data from engineers into the drawings.
• Work on 3-4 remedial brownfield projects simultaneously.
• Draft remedial layouts for civil and environmental engineers.
• Update existing drafts as changes are made.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of hazwoper regulations.
• Experience in drafting and CAD.
• Understanding of environmental engineering and remediation design.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D and design principles.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in environmental, civil, or structural engineering to enhance technical understanding.
