About the position

The ELIAS Automated Regression Testing Team is responsible for developing new tests to address coverage gaps, improving the efficiency of the existing regression test suite, and executing and diagnosing any failures that may arise. This role is crucial in ensuring that the automated testing processes are robust and effective, allowing for seamless integration and functionality of the ELIAS application. As an Automated Regression Tester, you will be transforming business test cases into automated test coverage, which is essential for maintaining the quality and reliability of the software being developed. In this position, you will develop fully automated tests using the Tricentis TOSCA tool, ensuring that these tests operate without the need for manual intervention. You will be expected to provide creative solutions to any challenges encountered during the development of repeatable automation. Additionally, you will need to rapidly update tests in response to changes in the application, contributing to the build-out of lights-out automation. Your role will also involve creating test coverage using risk-based testing techniques, executing unattended testing, and maintaining the test environment to ensure optimal performance. The goals of the Automated Regression Testing Team include filling the coverage gap from the previous WORKSOFT test suite to the current TOSCA test suite, maintaining the existing TOSCA test suite, and adding new test coverage to support updates to the ELIAS application. You will also be tasked with developing additional validations for both new and existing tests, as well as enhancing the test suite to provide additional capabilities, such as supporting testing against multiple versions of the application.
