The Automated Regression Tester position at MSRcosmos is a critical role within the ELIAS Automated Regression Testing Team, which is responsible for enhancing the efficiency and coverage of the regression test suite. The primary focus of this role is to develop new automated tests that address existing coverage gaps, ensuring that the testing process is thorough and effective. The tester will be tasked with transforming business test cases into automated test coverage, utilizing the Tricentis TOSCA tool to create fully automated tests that require no manual intervention. This involves providing innovative solutions to challenges encountered during the development of repeatable automation and rapidly updating tests in response to changes in the application. In addition to creating automated tests, the tester will contribute to the build-out of lights-out automation, which allows for unattended testing. The goals of the Automated Regression Testing Team include filling the coverage gap left by the previous WORKSOFT test suite, maintaining the current TOSCA test suite, and adding new test coverage to support updates to the ELIAS application. The role also requires the development of additional validations for both new and existing tests, as well as enhancing the test suite to support testing against multiple versions of the application. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of automated functional regression testing, data-driven test development techniques, and object recognition. They should be able to effectively follow the framework and guidelines established by the QA Leads and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience with Medicaid Eligibility, 508 testing, and CMS regulations, as well as knowledge of Dev/Ops concepts and continuous testing, will be beneficial in this role. The position is contract-based and offers the flexibility of remote work, making it an excellent opportunity for mid-level professionals looking to advance their careers in test automation.
