About the position

The Automated Regression Tester at Apollo Technology Solutions LLC will play a crucial role in the ELIAS Automated Regression Testing Team, which is responsible for enhancing the efficiency of the current regression test suite and ensuring comprehensive test coverage. This position involves transforming business test cases into automated test coverage, developing repeatable fully automated tests using the Tricentis TOSCA tool, and executing and diagnosing any failures that may arise during testing. The tester will be expected to provide creative solutions to challenges encountered while developing repeatable automation and rapidly update tests based on changes in the application. The role also includes contributing to the build-out of lights-out automation, creating test coverage using risk-based testing techniques, and executing unattended testing while maintaining the test environment. The team aims to fill the coverage gap from the previous WORKSOFT test suite to the current TOSCA test suite, maintain the existing TOSCA test suite, and add new test coverage to support updates to the ELIAS application. Additionally, the tester will develop additional validations for new and existing tests and enhance the test suite to provide additional capabilities, such as supporting testing against multiple versions of the application.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Experience developing automated test cases using TOSCA
• Thorough knowledge of automated functional regression testing
• Data-driven test development techniques
• Object recognition and test validation
• Lights-out unattended automation
• Ability to follow framework and guidelines established by the QA Leads
• Ability to transform business test cases into automated test coverage
• Ability to develop creative solutions to challenges that arise
• Ability to develop basic SQL queries for database validation
• Demonstrated ability to effectively use third-party tools and system utilities
• High levels of interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a project team
• Knowledge of Dev/Ops concepts and continuous testing
• Experience with Medicaid Eligibility, 508 testing, and CMS regulations
• Experience working in Agile project methodologies
• Knowledge and experience deploying risk-based testing techniques
• Experience developing and executing API test cases
• Experience with batch testing
