About the position

Gojob is seeking an Inventory Lead for an automated warehouse located in Locust Grove, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. This position requires a proactive approach to managing inventory and logistics, ensuring that all processes are followed accurately and efficiently. As an Inventory Lead, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the inventory system and ensuring that all team members are motivated and working towards common goals. Your daily activities will include performing all necessary tasks to maintain inventory accuracy, reconciling inventories, and coordinating inventory procedures. You will work closely with management to implement loss prevention programs and improve inventory management practices. It is essential to ensure that all defective products are accounted for and handled properly, maintaining accurate records to facilitate shortage detection. Additionally, you will be responsible for motivating your team to reach daily goals and helping to implement or update procedures with the new Warehouse Management System (WMS). Responsibilities

• Perform all daily activities necessary to maintain inventory accurately
• Reconcile inventories and coordinate inventory procedures
• Work with management on implementing loss prevention programs and improving management of inventory
• Ensure all defective product is accounted for and handled properly
• Maintain accurate records to help facilitate shortage detection
• Motivate the team to help reach the daily goals
• Help to implement/update procedures with the new WMS (Warehouse Management System)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in an automated warehousing environment, including at least 6 months of recent experience in a supervisory role
• 1+ years of experience in an inventory role including cycle counting
• 1+ years of Excel experience can enter accurate data and maintain complex spreadsheets
• Forklift operating experience
• Can work overtime and additional days when necessary
