About the position

The Automated Web Tester Developer position at Edgewater Technical Associates is designed to support the Business System IT department at the Savannah River Site. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining a Selenium-based web testing framework, developing test scripts, and ensuring adherence to industry best practices in web application testing.

Responsibilities

• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting test requirements
• Implementing and maintaining a Selenium-based web testing framework
• Developing and maintaining test scripts that produce documented test results
• Communicating and implementing industry best practices, guidelines, and recommendations for web application testing
• Writing and maintaining knowledge base documentation.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in implementing Selenium-based automated web testing at an enterprise level
• Experience in gathering requirements for test cases, designing test cases, and scripting test cases
• Experience creating and running Maven builds for Selenium-based tests
• Experience creating and running Junit tests in Eclipse for Selenium-based tests
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and focus on quality
• Teamwork skills in a highly matrixed project environment
• Knowledge of industry best practices for web application testing
• At least 3 years' experience with Selenium or Selenium-based products, Chrome, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, and some combination of Junit, Eclipse, and Maven.
