The position requires a proactive approach to searching, reviewing, and evaluating electrical designs to ensure they meet the project specifications and requirements. The engineer will work in a high-technology startup environment, collaborating with teams to meet the manufacturing needs of industrial equipment. The successful candidate will engage in hands-on work, translating project needs into practical electrical designs, building and assembling control circuits, and ensuring that all designs fulfill the project requirements. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology
  • Hands-on experience in building control circuits, assembling hardware, and design of industrial equipment
  • Experience with PLC and related hardware and software
  • Knowledge of PSpice, Labview, Oscilloscopes, C++, FPGA, PIC, MATLAB is a plus
  • Ability to translate project needs into the design of the equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to think outside the box
  • Strong aptitude in math and physics
  • Excellent Engineering reading and writing skills
  • Experience with designing commercial or industrial products
  • Diligence in Engineering Design Principles, Commitment to meeting deadlines
