Responsibilities

• Reviews Industrial Networking and Automation system designs to specify products that provide control, energy, and data transmission solutions.
• Prepares detailed component, product, and/or layout and detailed drawings and schematics using Solidworks and AutoCAD / Draftsight.
• Analyzes product or equipment specifications and performance requirements to determine designs which can be produced by existing manufacturing or processing facilities and methods.
• Reviews challenges and problems with Engineering personnel and works to find solutions to meet the customer's requirements.
• Experience with PLC programming is required, preferably Allen Bradley or Siemens.
• Locates design and application files related to the required design(s) and makes design modifications, as appropriate.
• Initiates and writes Test Requests, analyzes results, and takes appropriate action.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Associate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Experience with CAD software, particularly Solidworks and AutoCAD / Draftsight.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and automation.
