This position requires a blend of technical expertise and effective communication skills, as you will be responsible for leading design reviews, documenting design calculations, and creating comprehensive construction, demolition, and installation instructions. Your ability to communicate project details clearly with both the team and customers is essential to ensure that all work is completed accurately and on time. In this role, you will develop detailed drawings that encompass various aspects of automation projects, including demolition, installation, panel layouts, conduit setups, wire schedules, power loads, and panel heat calculations. Your expertise in 480 VAC power distribution, variable frequency drives, servo drives, and PLCs will be crucial in delivering top-quality work. Additionally, your knowledge of the National Electric Code will guide you in wire sizing, de-rating, conduit sizing, and installation requirements, ensuring compliance and safety in all projects.
