About the position

Capture 3D, a ZEISS Company, is a leading provider of automated 3D non-contact measurement solutions. As an Automation Controls Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for our advanced measurement equipment. This position requires a deep understanding of automation technologies, control systems, and software development to enhance our product offerings and ensure they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation solutions that improve efficiency and accuracy in our measurement processes. In this role, you will be responsible for developing control algorithms, programming PLCs, and designing user interfaces for our measurement systems. You will also conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure they function correctly under various operating conditions. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during the development and deployment phases. Additionally, you will be involved in providing technical support to customers and training them on the use of our automated systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field, with hands-on experience in automation and control systems. You will need to be proficient in programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar, and have experience with industrial communication protocols. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
