Automation, Energy, & Advanced Technologies Part-time Instr/Adjunct

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level classes in various disciplines including Operations Management, Electronics, Geographic Information Systems, Engineering Tech, Unmanned Aerial Systems, Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing, Energy Services and Renewable Technician, Industrial Automation and Robotics, Mechanical Maintenance, Instrumentation and Control, Nuclear Power, Petroleum Production, Electric Power, and Electric Transmission Systems.
• Submit grades by the established deadline.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean and/or the Dean of Automation, Energy and Advanced Technologies.

Requirements

• Degree requirements will vary by discipline.
• Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups.
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Good computer software skills - Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.), electronic Calendar and E-mail, and strong Internet familiarity.

Nice-to-haves

• College teaching experience.
• Experience with Blackboard Learning Management System.
• Experience with non-traditional teaching methods such as facilitating group work, use of inquiry-based and other active learning pedagogies, and/or contextualized instruction.
