About the position

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in this mission by testing, creating, implementing, and supporting robotics process and desktop automations. This position involves performing design, scripting, testing, implementing, maintaining, and modifying automations of moderate complexity, significance, and risk. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive test plans and test cases, defining automation data needs across systems, and coordinating this test data effectively. In this role, you will also create and execute performance tests to ensure that the expected automation performance levels are achieved. You will lead clients and technical staff in investigating, analyzing, and resolving technical problems, while also writing documentation that describes automation capabilities and operating procedures. Estimating and defining timetables and project tasks, as well as analyzing and estimating costs and time, will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will conduct analyses of organizational needs for the creation and implementation of automation solutions, participate in feasibility assessments of new automation opportunities, and help determine the best approach for automation. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship, and we are looking for candidates who possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, along with seven to nine years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic, or automating complex processes.

Responsibilities

  • Test, create, implement, and support robotics process and desktop automations.
  • Perform design, scripting, testing, implementing, maintaining, and modifying automations of moderate complexity.
  • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases; define automation data needs across systems and coordinate this test data.
  • Create and execute performance tests to ensure expected automation performance levels are achieved.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Seven to nine years of relevant work experience with programming concepts, development logic, or automating complex processes.
  • Strong experience with MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, Power BI, AI Builder, SharePoint).
  • Experience connecting MS Power Platform solutions to Azure resources such as Document Intelligence.
  • Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, .net, C#, Java or other configuration/scripting type technology is a plus.
  • Must have RPA experience: Ideally Automation Anywhere A360 or similar RPA alternatives like UiPath, Blue Prism.
  • Thorough knowledge of data and process modeling, system and application testing, software development life cycle, application design and architecture, programming, implementation, change controls, and robotics suites.
  • Thorough understanding of information and release management, and product and vendor evaluation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, project management, and teamwork/collaboration skills.
  • Comprehensive analytical, technical and application development/programming skills.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Azure resources integration.
  • Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, .net, C#, Java.
