About the position

The Automation Engineer Summer Intern position is designed for undergraduate students majoring in Engineering, Biochemistry, Physics, or related fields. This 12-week internship offers hands-on experience in testing robotics and automation technologies, creating training protocols, and planning experiments in a lab environment. The role emphasizes collaboration and presentation skills, providing an opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Testing new robotics and automation related technology in a lab setting.
• Creating, reviewing and presenting new training protocols for existing robotics and automation systems.
• Planning experiments and documenting experimental results.

Requirements

• Undergraduate freshman, sophomore, and junior students majoring in Engineering, Biochemistry, Physics, or a related field.
• Expected graduation date after August 2025.
• Coding skills such as Python, C++, or SQL are a plus.
• Microsoft Office experience including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
• Minimum grade point average of 3.0.
