About the position

The Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the Maintenance Manager to maintain and enhance the engineering systems for the automation of the cement plant. This position focuses on ensuring continuous operation and improving processes through the application of Continuous Improvement (CI) and High Performance (HP) methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Support the Maintenance Manager in maintaining engineering systems for plant automation.
• Assist operations teams during normal plant operations and troubleshooting processes.
• Analyze electronic and automation equipment using CI and HP methodologies to identify areas for improvement.
• Select appropriate instruments, equipment, and controls for implementing solutions.
• Review and modify equipment start sequences and interlocking while maintaining 5S KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in automation within the cement industry.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement (CI) and High Performance (HP) methodologies.
• Familiarity with 5S KPIs in the cement industry.
