About the position

The Automation Engineer position at Aerotek focuses on maintaining operations and facilitating the shutdown of the Crestline location. This long-term contract role involves working primarily with Allen Bradley PLCs and Fanuc Robotics, ensuring smooth operations and performing various maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing maintenance, including electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance.
• Handle control circuits and troubleshoot PLCs, specifically Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Work with Fanuc Robotics to ensure smooth operation.
• Conduct hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
• Execute preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Utilize photo eye sensors for maintenance purposes.
• Assist in welding and fabricating as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in manufacturing maintenance.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of mechanical maintenance.
• Skilled in Allen Bradley PLCs.
• Experience with Fanuc Robotics.
• Capability in hydraulic and pneumatic repair.
• Ability to perform preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and photo eye sensors.
