About the position

Piper Life Sciences is actively seeking an Automation Engineer to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility that is brand new and going to be the largest end-to-end cell manufacturing facility in Northern America. The Automation Engineer will be assisting in automation systems projects involving technologies like in DeltaV, as well as serving as liaison to integrators to explain design requirements. This is a Monday-Friday role, located on-site in Holly Springs, NC.

Responsibilities

Diving into the codes from their Denmark location to understand the logic/principles to replicate it, as necessary, for the Holly Springs Site.
Communicate with integrators to explain design requirements.
Thorough understanding of design concepts and architecture.
Work cross functionally with project managers, engineering, etc. to ensure programs remain compliant.
Provide technical support for automation to other production related engineering groups as needed.

Requirements

B.S. in an Engineering discipline, with 3-5 years of transferrable automation experience.
2+ year of Experience with DeltaV.
Automation/controls experience in an industrial environment.
