About the position

The Automation Engineer role focuses on developing and maintaining a test automation framework known as Talen, which is used to ensure that products controlled by a server are properly tested and validated. This position involves heavy scripting and automation tasks, primarily using Python and shell scripting, to enhance the efficiency of the testing process.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Talen test automation framework.
• Create and execute complex shell scripts for automation in Linux and MS Windows environments.
• Implement automation for system setup and configuration processes.
• Install software to units and ensure automation of the majority of processes.
• Support training for Level I and II Automation Engineers.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in creating complex shell scripts and automation within Linux and MS Windows environments.
• Expert level experience with Python, Shell, and PowerShell scripting.
• Ability to create complex custom executables for deploying software bundles.
