About the position

Pieper Automation is expanding and is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer in our new facility in Wrightstown, WI. The Automation Engineer will oversee all activities related to the assigned accounts and projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have proven technical skills in Industrial Automation and the capability to independently execute and manage small to mid-level projects. This position is not just about technical expertise; it also requires strong communication skills to liaise with customers and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and executing projects based on customer needs. This includes specifying equipment and controls according to customer requirements, which is essential for delivering tailored solutions. You will have the opportunity to work independently or as part of a project team, depending on the project scope and requirements. Additionally, travel may be required for system commissioning at customer sites, which adds a dynamic aspect to the role.
