About the position

Pieper Automation is expanding and is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer in our new facility in Wrightstown, WI. The Automation Engineer will oversee all activities related to the assigned accounts and projects. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have proven technical skills in Industrial Automation and the capability to independently execute and manage small to mid-level projects. This position is not just about technical expertise; it also requires strong communication skills to liaise with customers and ensure their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute projects based on customer need
  • Specify equipment and controls per customer needs and requirements
  • Work independently or as part of a project team
  • Travel as needed for system commissioning at customer sites
  • Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction
  • Project engineering and programming work are the main focus areas of the role
  • Cultivate customer relationships to drive repeat business and growth

Requirements
