Automation Engineer

About the position

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Engineer with extensive experience in Java and a strong background in service-oriented architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing test automation frameworks and strategies, particularly for REST services, and will be adept at using various web automation tools. This role requires a solid understanding of internet protocols and experience in building and maintaining test environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for REST services.
• Create test strategies, frameworks, and tools to ensure quality in e-commerce/web applications.
• Utilize web automation tools such as Selenium and Raft for testing.
• Build and maintain test beds and automated data-driven test suites.
• Implement industry best practices in developing frameworks from scratch.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in Java in a service-oriented architecture.
• 5+ years' experience with Junit/TestNG, Jenkins, Gradle, SQL, JSON, XML.
• 5+ years' experience with web automation tools such as Selenium, Raft, etc.
• Experience in writing test automation frameworks for REST services.
• 4+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, focusing on e-commerce/web applications testing.
• Solid understanding of Internet Protocols TCP/IP, HTTP, and HTTPS.
• Solid understanding of NoSQL databases like Couchbase, MongoDB, etc., and caching strategies.
