About the position
The Automation Engineering Intern position at Novelis in Ashville, OH, offers an opportunity for students to gain hands-on industry experience in data analytics within a leading aluminum recycling and rolling company. The internship lasts approximately 12 weeks and focuses on optimizing data quality and efficiency, while working closely with the Quality Manager and other team members.
Responsibilities
- Examine complex data to optimize the efficiency and quality of the data being collected
- Resolve data quality problems
- Collaborate with developers to improve systems and database designs
- Interpret data using statistical techniques, write and deliver reports, maintain databases, and provide assistance to management
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University
- Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer
Nice-to-haves
