About the position

The Engineering Automation Technician role at Actalent involves supporting and maintaining automated equipment lines, troubleshooting complex electro-mechanical systems, and providing leadership for a team of up to 6 people. Responsibilities

• Support and maintain automated equipment lines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Provide leadership and manage a team of up to 6 people (for leadership roles).
• Design and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and/or software systems.
• Fabricate mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and assemblies.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with Automated Equipment (8+ years for Engineering Lead).
• Experience with complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Skills and experience in the design and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and/or software systems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a technical role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
• Experience in the fabrication of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems and assemblies is preferred.
