About the position

Insight Global is seeking an experienced SharePoint developer to support a Department of Defense (DOD) customer based out of the Mark Center in Alexandria, Virginia. This position is crucial for assisting with knowledge management and the administration of the customer's SharePoint platform. The selected individual will be responsible for managing documents, customizing sites, migrating sites, creating workflows, and managing permission groups within the organization. This role requires close collaboration with high-level customers, including GS-15 and SES level officials, to ensure effective support for their platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint development and a proven track record of working in a similar environment, particularly within government or defense sectors.

Responsibilities

• Assist with knowledge management and administration of the SharePoint platform.
• Manage documents and site customization for the organization.
• Oversee site migrations and ensure smooth transitions.
• Create and manage workflows within SharePoint.
• Manage permission groups and access controls for users.
• Interface closely with GS-15 and SES level customers to provide support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Experience managing and creating workflows in SharePoint.
• Experience managing permission groups in SharePoint.
• Experience customizing SharePoint sites.
