We are seeking an Automation Machine Builder to assemble and debug manufacturing automation equipment and to fabricate, modify, and troubleshoot automation stations and support equipment transfers to Molex facilities worldwide. The Automation Machine Builder will play a crucial role in the Datacom and Specialty Solutions (DSS) automation team, which designs, builds, and launches cutting-edge automation equipment around Molex facilities globally. This equipment supports an extensive product line serving customers in telecommunications, datacom, hyperscalers, data center, and storage applications. In this position, you will attend design review meetings and PFMEA's while collaborating with automation design team members to enhance current and future designs. You will provide insights and design considerations for machine controls and operator interface panels to improve the reliability and ease of operation of the equipment. Your responsibilities will include fabricating, assembling, modifying, and troubleshooting automation stations and components. This will involve troubleshooting assembly and product issues, adjusting manufacturing processes to enhance product performance, and reacting swiftly to any production requirements. Additionally, you will supervise the disassembly, packaging, and subsequent unpacking and commissioning of LR-Automation equipment installed in Molex facilities globally. The role may require international travel of up to 20% per year, and you will also perform other related duties as assigned by management.
