About the position

As an Automation Process Controller I on the D2 Shift at Lineage, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and virtually monitor all warehouse processes to guarantee that products are completed on time. This involves troubleshooting any defective equipment or systems and collaborating with the appropriate departments to resolve issues while adhering to all regulatory and company safety standards, policies, and procedures. In this position, you will be expected to ensure optimal product flow to meet operational throughput, monitor system downtime, and implement supply improvement plans. You will also be responsible for maximizing system capacity by identifying and mitigating systematic bottlenecks. Participating in troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis for complex control system-related issues will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will partner with the technical team to develop best practices for automated warehouse operations, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the facility. Responsibilities

  • Plan and virtually monitor all warehouse processes for accuracy, efficiency, and on-time completion
  • Ensure optimal product flow to meet operational throughput
  • Monitor system downtime and implement supply improvement plans
  • Ensure maximum use of system capacity by identifying and mitigating systematic bottlenecks
  • Participate in troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis for complex control system related issues
  • Partner with technical team to develop best practices for automated warehouse operations

Requirements

  • 1-year automated warehouse facility experience
  • Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve or help others resolve equipment and process issues
  • Excellent analytical, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task various and conflicting responsibilities
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
  • Comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
