About the position

The Automation QA Engineer position at PlanIT Group is a remote role focused on ensuring the quality of software through automation testing. The role requires a strong understanding of QA methodologies, experience with automation tools, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment. The position is contract-based, lasting between 3 to 6 months, and emphasizes collaboration and communication within a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automation scripts for testing software applications.
• Conduct thorough testing of software to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with team members to improve QA processes and methodologies.
• Utilize UiPath RPA tool for automation tasks.
• Perform database testing and validate data integrity using SQL.
• Maintain documentation of testing processes and results.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong knowledge of QA best practices and methodologies.
• Experience in automation testing, including design and development of scripts.
• Proficiency in SQL for database testing.
• Experience with UiPath RPA tool is required.
• Knowledge of Applied EPIC software and Property & Casualty Insurance is desired.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment.
• High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
