About the position

The Automation QA Engineer will lead the development of an Automation Framework for testing, playing a crucial role in setting up the framework for new releases. The ideal candidate will have experience with Selenium or other automation frameworks and will also possess hardware testing experience, particularly with products such as cameras, DVRs, and phones.

Responsibilities

• Craft detailed, comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Implement tests using automated tools to enhance efficiency.
• Document bugs and collaborate with developers for resolutions.
• Execute system-level testing for reliability and scalability.
• Assess and improve system security measures.
• Maintain precise records of testing phases and defects.
• Continually refine QA processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent.
• 7+ years in QA experience.
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, RTSP).
• Experience with network configuration and troubleshooting for video streaming.
• Knowledge of network security, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
• Experience with hardware such as cameras, phones, TVs, and monitors.
