About the position

As an Automation QA Engineer at Thomson Reuters, you will play a crucial role in developing and reviewing automated solutions to ensure high-quality client solutions. Your responsibilities will include creating and executing test plans for multiple products, identifying automation opportunities, and collaborating with development teams to enhance testing strategies and product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and review automated solutions for quality assurance.
  • Create and execute test plans to support multiple products.
  • Analyze business requirements and design specifications for completeness and testability.
  • Identify opportunities to automate processes and operations.
  • Design, develop, and execute QA tests with effective automation scripts.
  • Ensure automation solutions cover all necessary aspects of a product and resolve errors found.
  • Provide inputs and escalate issues in bug triage meetings.
  • Stay engaged with product sprint ceremonies and track automation progress.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance.
  • Proficiency in writing clean, modular, reusable code (Java and Python).
  • Comprehensive understanding of test methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience working in an agile development environment.
  • Experience with Backend and Frontend testing and automation.
  • Systematic, disciplined, and analytical approach to tasks.
  • Ability to achieve results with broad performance guidelines.
  • Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship essential for compliance with government contract requirements.
