About the position

The Automation Service Engineer at PPC Partners is responsible for providing exceptional service and support to customers throughout Southern Wisconsin. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing automation systems, engaging in programming tasks, and managing small projects. The ideal candidate will have a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently while adapting to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and address their needs promptly.
• Perform troubleshooting and repair of automation systems to maintain optimal performance.
• Engage in some programming and manage small project duties in the office.
• Coordinate with the team to handle after-hours and weekend emergency service calls.
• Work independently; begin each day with a plan to execute scheduled tasks and adapt quickly to changes.
• Travel locally throughout Southern Wisconsin to service customer needs.

Requirements

• Strong troubleshooting skills in automation systems.
