About the position

The Automation Software Tester will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of a new web application by collaborating with the Business Analyst to develop comprehensive test plans and cases. This position involves conducting thorough testing before and during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring a smooth release process.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Business Analyst to create test plans and cases for an upcoming release of a new web application.
• Conduct testing before and during the User Acceptance Testing phase.

Requirements

• 5+ years of test creation and testing experience.
• Ability to accurately summarize bugs/issues.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Experience testing web, GUI, client/server, and database applications.
• Ability to quickly learn new applications.
• Ability to analyze issues and questions from different perspectives, including the underlying facts and assumptions.
• Prior software development experience is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of Family Support processes/applications is preferred but not required.
