About the position

The position at Bank of America involves working within the Global Risk Analytics (GRA) and Enterprise Independent Testing (EIT) teams, focusing on developing innovative tests and monitoring systems for operational and compliance risk. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to understand business processes and design effective testing strategies, while also ensuring high-quality code delivery and documentation for regulatory purposes.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively work with stakeholders to collect requirements and understand business processes.
• Design and implement tests to meet business requirements.
• Execute activities that form the end-to-end development life cycle.
• Develop innovative approaches for testing and monitoring operational and compliance risk.
• Deliver high-quality code and identify opportunities for improvement in documentation and processes.
• Produce clear technical documentation for internal and regulatory purposes.
• Take ownership of delivering results and meeting critical deadlines.

Requirements

• Graduate degree in a highly technical discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent educational training.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong programming skills including SQL and Python.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and data analysis/mining tools.
• Technical experience in object-oriented or functional software development.
• Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a large, complex organization and influence stakeholders.
• Strong team player with the ability to work individually and collaboratively.
• Ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure.
