About the position
The Automation Technician role involves working with electrical systems, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation equipment. Responsibilities
- Review and interpret electrical schematics and AutoCAD prints.
- Troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems and automation equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management.
- Organize technical documents and research materials.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and improve processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology or related field preferred.
- 0-1 years of automation or industrial maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of PLCs and servo systems from training or school.
- Strong computer skills for document organization and technical research.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
