About the position

The Automation Tender position involves operating and maintaining automated machinery, ensuring quality production through the use of various tools and equipment. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and completion of specific training to ensure efficient operation of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Use all types of mechanical and non-mechanical hand tools.
• Set dies in all automatic presses.
• Set material in cradle and spindle.
• Adjust feeder and straighteners for each job.
• Set electrical sensors and feeder stops.
• Use measuring and inspection tools, including micrometers, rulers, verniers, and gauges.
• Operate a forklift safely.
• Complete PMA Automation Training System.
• Run sample parts for Quality Team Inspections.

Requirements

• Ability to use mechanical and non-mechanical hand tools.
• Experience with setting dies in automatic presses.
• Knowledge of adjusting feeders and straighteners.
• Familiarity with electrical sensors and feeder stops.
• Proficiency in using measuring and inspection tools.
• Forklift operation certification or experience.
