About the position

The Automation Test Engineer will focus on ensuring the quality of healthcare applications, particularly in the billing domain. This role involves developing and executing automated test scripts, analyzing results, and collaborating with development teams to resolve defects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API testing, SQL, and experience with automation tools, specifically Tosca, while adhering to best practices in testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional testing.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Tosca for healthcare applications.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues identified during testing.
• Assist in evaluating and maintaining automation tools as necessary.
• Utilize SQL for database testing and defect management using JIRA.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like qTest and Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-7 years of experience as an Automation Test Engineer with a focus on U.S. healthcare billing.
• Strong experience in API testing and debugging using Postman/Swagger.
• Proficient in SQL with database testing experience.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional testing.
• Knowledge of automation approaches and best practices in business flows.
• Experience with Tosca for test case design, execution, and reporting.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CI/CD tools like qTest.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
