About the position

The Automation Tester position at Alltech involves working remotely to ensure the quality and reliability of IT services provided to the Federal Government and Government Integrators. The role focuses on developing and executing automated tests to identify software defects and improve overall product quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Participate in test planning and design activities to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing, particularly in automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test script development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Familiarity with cloud services and environments.
