About the position

The Automation Tester role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. This position is crucial for enhancing testing efficiency and effectiveness, contributing to the overall software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts for software applications.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and requirements.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Report and track defects using appropriate tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.
