About the position

The Automation Tester role is focused on developing and executing automated tests for web and mobile applications. The position requires a strong background in test automation tools and frameworks, particularly with Selenium and Java, to ensure the quality and performance of software products. The role involves collaboration with globally distributed teams and proactive communication with the QA Manager regarding project statuses and risks.

Responsibilities

• 8+ years experience in Test Automation using various tools like Selenium, REST Assured, JMeter, Appium, Cucumber, etc., for web and mobile applications.
• Proven track record in developing test automation frameworks from inception.
• Experience with test data identification & creation/mining by querying/retrieving from backend databases/API calls.
• Working experience with globally distributed teams.
• Experience with test management tools (Jira/SquashTest/GitLab).
• Proficient/working experience on various CI tools such as GitLab/GitHub.
• Engage proactively with QA Manager regarding project statuses and risks.
• Experience in Java programming; any shell scripting will be preferred.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience with API Automation and test management tools.
• Familiarity with CI tools like GitLab/GitHub.
