About the position

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated solutions to enhance operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of software development processes and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Automation Engineer will play a critical role in driving innovation and improving system performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks and scripts for various applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand system functionalities.
• Develop and maintain continuous integration pipelines to streamline development processes.
• Perform unit testing and ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing methodologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation tools and processes.
• Document automation processes, standards, and best practices for future reference.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of automation projects.

Requirements

• Proficiency in computer networking principles and practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum framework.
• Strong programming skills in PHP for developing automation scripts.
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks to ensure code quality.
• Knowledge of continuous integration tools and practices.
• Understanding of JDBC for database connectivity in automation tasks.
• Experience with Android development is a plus.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services for deployment and management of applications.
• Proficient in CSS for front-end automation tasks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SQL (3 years preferred)
• Experience with Selenium (3 years preferred)
