About the position

The Automation Tester role is focused on ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications through automated testing. The position requires a strong understanding of automation tools and frameworks, particularly in the context of Agile development. The tester will be responsible for creating and executing test cases, reporting defects, and collaborating with development teams to enhance product quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct automated testing using tools like Selenium and TOSCA.
• Perform compatibility and integration testing to ensure software works across different platforms.
• Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Report and track defects using JIRA and other tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
• Develop and maintain test scripts and frameworks based on BDD principles.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium and TOSCA.
• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Experience with JIRA, Test, Postman, and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in Agile development lifecycle methodology.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the BFSI domain (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance).
