About the position

The Automations Controls Engineer position focuses on designing and implementing automation systems for CNC machining and robotics. The role requires expertise in programming and interfacing various automation equipment, as well as troubleshooting electrical systems. The ideal candidate will contribute to enhancing manufacturing processes through innovative automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design machine tending automation system cell controllers.
• Interface CNC machine tools, robots, washers, gauges/CMMs, and markers with automation equipment.
• Perform electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and setup of various automation peripherals.
• Program PLC/HMI systems (preferably Allen-Bradley), robots (Fanuc), and vision systems (iRvision or Cognex).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience with manufacturing automation and industrial robotic systems.
• Strong electrical design, wiring, and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in PLC/HMI/Robot/Vision programming.
• Experience in mechanical assembly and electrical troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with major industrial protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profibus, and Profinet.
• Knowledge of safety circuit and safety relay/controller configuration.
