About the position
The Automotive Accounting Clerk is a detail-oriented role focused on maintaining financial records and processing invoices within the automotive industry. The position requires mid-level accounting experience and involves assisting with various accounting tasks, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Process New and Used vehicle deals
- Process DMV transactions
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records
- Provide support to the accounting team as needed
Requirements
- Experience in accounting, preferably within the automotive industry
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of automotive industry accounting practices is a plus
