About the position

The Automotive Alignment Technician position at Mavis Tires & Brakes involves using advanced equipment to align tires and wheels on customer vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Technicians are responsible for measuring and adjusting vehicle angles, completing state-mandated inspections, and performing various automotive services and repairs. This role is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction and vehicle reliability.

Responsibilities

• Align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer vehicles using the latest equipment.
• Measure and adjust caster, camber, toe, and thrust angles to reduce tire wear.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and perform oil and filter changes.
• Conduct flat repairs and other required automotive services or vehicle repairs.
• Ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
