Mavis Tires & Brakes is seeking full-time Automotive Assistants and Service Managers to join their team in Salisbury, NC. The role involves overseeing the efficient operation of the repair shop, scheduling work for mechanics, ensuring quality service, and assisting customers with tire selections and automotive repairs. Candidates should have a background in automotive service and sales, with a focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Schedule mechanics/technicians' work and order parts.
• Ensure quality and timely completion of jobs exceeding customer expectations.
• Maintain safety of personnel and housekeeping of the shop.
• Assist customers with tire selections and under-car repair services.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance sales.
• Communicate safety and mechanical issues to the store manager.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• 1 year of experience in automotive parts and/or tire sales.
• 1 year of experience in automotive repairs/maintenance or a combination of education, training, and experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of under-car repairs, alignments, tires, and exhaust systems.
• Basic math and PC skills.
• Basic supervisory/leadership skills.
