About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Billing/Office Clerk to join our team. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate records of sales, profits, and commissions, as well as managing vehicle inventories. The ideal candidate will bring experience in automotive billing and a proactive attitude toward handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts for conformity to specified requirements and ensure adherence to corporate documentation standards.
• Verify that all necessary documents are signed and completed accurately.
• Promptly process all paperwork associated with vehicle sales.
• Reconcile monthly schedules and resolve any discrepancies.
• Post inventory-related payable invoices in a timely manner.
• Provide general administrative assistance as needed, including filing and scanning deal jackets.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education (degree, coursework, or certification) is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Billing Clerk in an automotive dealership.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Strong computer and internet skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Automotive accounting experience, particularly with Tekion, is required.
• Strong math skills for accurate financial reporting.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on maintaining composure under stress.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Highly professional demeanor and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
