About the position
The position involves serving as a liaison between customers and technicians in a vehicle repair environment. The primary focus is on addressing customer concerns, providing estimates for repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process.
Responsibilities
- Identify, confirm and offer resolutions to customer concerns.
- Estimate repair needs to customers based on vehicle inspection.
- Serve as the communication link between the customer and the technician.
- Answer incoming telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Monitor and correspond with customers requesting online estimates.
- Schedule appointments with customers.
- Work with customers and Body Shop Technicians to identify required repair work.
- Offer additional services and repairs as needed.
- Compute cost of replacement parts and labor to restore vehicle to specified condition.
- Dispatch and maintain an organized workload.
- Enter itemized estimates on repair orders and explain them to customers.
- Keep customers informed and updated throughout the repairs.
- Maintain Customer Satisfaction score at or above designated standards.
- Familiarity with and adherence to various insurance guidelines.
- Work with insurance to provide supplemental estimates.
- Write accurate repair orders using CCC.
