About The Position

The Automotive Body Shop Prepper is responsible for refinishing external body panels and components of vehicles with cosmetic damage. This role involves planning, organizing, scheduling, and executing refinishing work to ensure timely delivery of vehicles for sale. The position requires maintaining equipment and supplies, as well as effective communication with the Reconditioning Service Coordinator regarding any issues that may arise.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive refinishing work is required.
• Ability to establish priorities and problem-solve to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Effective communication skills and a team player attitude.
• Integrity and a commitment to self-improvement.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Refinish all vehicles for sale according to the procedures of the Reconditioning Service Department.
• Plan, organize, schedule, and execute refinishing work to prevent bottlenecks in the reconditioning process.
• Keep all equipment and tools in good working order and maintain required supplies in stock.
• Alert the Reconditioning Service Coordinator of any problems that might prevent sold vehicles from being delivered properly.
